Pets were on Paris Hilton’s mind all the time due to reasons she won’t discuss, but now the animal activists too have drawn their daggers against her. PETA has named her the worst-dressed celebrity and blamed her of wearing her dead pets owing to her inclinations towards fur. Rock star Rod Stewart’s daughter Kimberly Stewart was judged next to Hilton.
A PETA spokesperson quipped: “Now we know what happens to all of Paris Hilton’s cast-off pets.”
The chics are busy flaunting furs for dollars with a dead conscience, whereas on the other hand PETA unearthed the horrifying secret behind Chinese dog and cat fur trade. Millions of dogs and cats are tortured to death so that people can show off the luxury furs with pride. But the fact is the dog and cat fur is sold with fake labels of other species. It’s not easy to make out the difference for an ordinary man. Chinese finished fur garments have hold over half of the killer fur market. Despite efforts made by animal activists to discourage people from buying fur clothes, the practice is still very popular, especially in the western countries. Strict laws and ban on export and import of fur can only check the blood-shedding. And for this all celebrities must come forward.
