Toronto-based pet food manufacturer Menu Foods Inc. has added one more brand of dog food to its recall list and identified two more dates of eight varieties of tainted food, which had already been withdrawn.
Natural Life dog food cans dated Nov/22/09 and bearing UPC number 12344-07114 were the latest inclusion.
These add to the list of already recalled wet cat and dog food produced with tainted wheat gluten supplied by Chinese company ChemNutra Inc.
The latest addition were made following an analysis done by Menu Foods Inc. at its plant in Emporia, Kansas, as a part of FDA’s investigation of the tainted wheat gluten.
