A ruthless act of greyhound trainers showed up in the merciless shooting of the dogs by a a builders’ merchant David Smith, who had killed 10,000 dogs in the past 15 years in a one-acre plot at the back of his home in Seaham, Co Durham. This horrendous act called as the ‘canine killing fields’ is put down by Smith in what he shamelessly says he did for humane reasons.
Whatever the reason might be the National Greyhound Racing Club should make an inquiry into the matter and take action against Smith for the cause of silent animals who cannot even beg for mercy.
