Glendale Central Library, LA, California, is a storehouse of the world’s largest collection of books related to the cat world. Around 20,000 volumes on cats enrich the library, occupying a large number of shelves. An appointment is needed to refer the prized collection, but the staffers are now planning to make the books available for general reference section also.
It’s a real treat for cat lovers who want to seek more information on their cozy cats. I don’t know how many people are aware of the treasure, donated by late orthopedic surgeon Harvey Billig, who did a lot of professional research on cats and also the Jewel City Cat Fanciers Club.
