About 35 storm-struck cats and dogs sheltered in Mississippi will soon be getting the required help by the rescue team. The animals were rescued from the streets of Louisiana where they were living for the last so many days. Pet owners will soon be able to claim their pets once their photos are posted on petfinder.org.
Hundreds of pets lost their homes during the Katrina disaster. Organizations, like the Gulf Coast Humane Society, and Pets and Animals Life Shelter, are doing a commendable job by rescuing the animals from the Gulf coast, which was seriously struck by the storm.
