Craze with respect to a particular animal is often triggered by media, movies and books. As it happened after Disney’s “101 Dalmations” and now people may be curious about ferrets and even owls, curtsey - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Ferrets will do but owls seem to me a bizarre idea.



You can’t just catch any animal and force him to be your companion. It’s absurd, cruel and inhuman. Wash your brains if you’re planning to keep an owl as a pet. Owls are not at all suitable as pets. They are no doubt beautiful but powerful too with extremely sharp talons.



The main problem with owls is that they are not at all social. They require a large area to fly and an enormous protein rich diet. Better think twice, before just going on the looks.
